whyilovetoronto: Why I Love Toronto Reason #3 Seeing the Cast of Degrassi Almost Everywhere Whenever I see someone on TV in real life I am fascinated. Why I’m not sure. Yes it could be the whether man from Global TV on the street or a Muchmusic VJ, but the fact  it is really cool to see them in real life because you see that they are real down earth people and that are similar to you.   That is why I am always excited to see the stars of Degrassi (a huge cult phenomenon in Canada and the USA) somewhere in toronto doing normal people things that you and I do.   For example, one night i saw Melinda Shankar (Ali) on the TTC probably going out clubbing or something, but the cool thing was that she takes the TTC - just like me.  Another night I ran into Shannon Kook-Sun (Zane) at Thryst night club just chilling on the dance floor having a few drinks, with us normal people not in some VIP dance space, but on the dancefloor with us regular folk. Another day I saw Sam earle (KC) at Taste of the Danforth just walking around with his friends. Once I helped Mike Lobel find a pair of jeans at my store! Anyways I love the fact that you can see the cast of Degrassi almost everywhere in Toronto and they are like us. I’m not sure what it is because I don’t even each Degrassi, but the fact that you can see them at place you go or do the things that you do in this awesome city well..   That Is Why I Love Toronto

Seeing the Cast of Degrassi Almost Everywhere
